Ben began his Master of Chiropractic Degree at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic and transferred to complete it at the University of Glamorgan in Wales. He also completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of Auckland.
He is passionate about Chiropractic and the current research into this and other health disciplines.
He has a special interest in the upper cervical region (right at the top of the neck) and their relationship to headaches, migraines and optimum health. Ben’s initial experience of the Chiropractic Adjustment was when he was 13 years old- his mum had just started running the office in a Chiropractic clinic and he popped along for no particular reason. He noticed that his daily scratchy, sore throats disappeared overnight and that changed his direction from wanting to become an MD (Medical Doctor) to becoming a DC (Doctor of Chiropractic). Early on, he put his experience down to ‘curing’ or ‘treating’ recurrent sore throats, but that soon changed as he realised that his nervous system was simply working at its optimum level was able to fully function without interference.
Ben has practised in Cornwall and Essex before relocating to Bristol. He is registered to practise in the UK by the General Chiropractic Council, and in New Zealand by the NZ Chiropractic Board. He is also a member of the College of Chiropractors.
